Karachi: Pakistan ace all-rounder Shahid Afridi laid into a journalist on Saturday for asking an “inappropriate” question.**He was talking to the media as he arrived at Karachi airport after taking part in a Pakistan’s two-match Twenty20 series against India.A journalist at the airport asked Afridi that just after scoring a four and a six he failed to perform in the second T20. The way the question was asked annoyed the all-rounder and he critically advised the journalist to watch his mouth.
The journalist again asked Afridi about his performance in the tournament, upon which he said: “I’m returning after having played T20 cricket, not the cricket of your times.”

lets make no mistake abt it....i have absloutely no doubt that PCB and Zaka ahraf decided not to retain afridi under the pressure that was exerted on them via our froum KK..KK is by far the most influential cricket forum in Pakistan....many PCB officials visit KK forum on a regular basis to get guidance...and we will continue to provide them with strategic guidance....

He needs to ask that poor fella ( hint : Karachi airport incident ) for forgiveness - jab tahak nahi kara gay , ayes hi zaleel hoga - he insulted that poor fan of his , now nature is paying him in the same currency !

Cricketers are human too & it's understandable that they will lose their cool at times. Afridi should have either agreed with the reporter or walked away with no comment. Ever seen our politicians. **best response is to smile and walk away. **This is how most celebrities deal with such issues
Players should expect such silly Qs from time to time. But as public figures they should have some patience and discipline and learn to behave with restraint (I know it's not possible sometimes) even if provoked by a reporter in such a manner. Lashing out at people like that isn't sensible or excusable ... and this is not the first time that Afridi has done something like this
