Never quite understand why people run to the airport to greet these guys - they just won the Asia cup - big deal. If they ever win a World Cup again, then I can understand people going to the airport to welcome them - otherwise why waste your time and in the process continue to build egos of egotistical maniacs like Afridi?
Stay home people...do something with your lives...dont waste rose petals, and your time on losers like Afridi - let them do something worthwhile like win another WC - beating Sri Lanka and barely beating Bangladesh twice to come home with a trophy is nothing to be so happy about that you would put your self respect to one side.
Actions like these are what cause these losers to think of themselves as superstars.

Afridi should have behaved in a restrianed manner whatever the provocation but these fans can be a bit of pain & nuisance sometimes. Many lack basic manners. They must act with commonsense and responsibility too. Why invite players’ ire by mobbing them like this on their return. Anyone will be tired and exhausted after a flight!

well i m sure anyone at all wud have been tempted 2 do the same if their kid was hassaled by the crowd. i hate how this 1 person commented on fb k jeet gaya hai na issi liye dhemg kharab ho gaya hai...uff...its high time we stop criticisizing our people and be happy for their and our success without getting all negative.

Having said that, I don’t think there was a kid involved. 
Not Afridi’s daughter (what’s she doing there anyway), not any other random kid. It just seemed like a cover up tactic by him after his brain took in the ruckus he caused in front of the camera. You see the video and Afridi brings in the kids excuse, after he gave the fan his mind.
Speaking of the camera, if a little kid was there, the camera would have panned and showed him/her down on the ground.

People who are saying the kid wasn't there should go on twitterverse to check their facts...people who interviewed him and were eyewitnesses said his daughters were waiting for him outside of the car. Had someone pushed my daughter I would have beaten the crap out of them as well. Simple as that!

In the car yes, I can agree, but not before that when he was coming out and the fan was bugging him. 
But irrespective of that, I think there is no point of making celebrities waltz through like this with hundreds/thousands of fans swarming them. It should be planned beforehand, and controlled entry/exit, at least of sports and cricket celebrities, fans. The board and airport should be coordinating and planning these events.
Pakistani mobs never did understand, and probably won’t anytime soon. I still remember the sad incident when 18-19 women died due to the crowd when they were in line to get free oil that was distributed in Ramazan. The risk is always there.
