This man almost single-handedly took our side to the WC semis...nd guess what he's given in return...He's sacked just for asking his rights...good decision Afridi...Laanat on PCB, Ijaz Butt and Waqar Younis

so when will he take his retirement back now?

btw, irrespective of if he takes the retirement back or not, every new incident makes me hate BUTT more and more. He has destroyed so many players. I wonder what other political backbone he has other than Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhrar. Sometimes I just wonder if he has nude photos of Zardari that he use to blackmail him

then he should have come to board after the tour ended and given them his statement in a stern manner. If they would not have listened then he had a choice.
Right now he showed that he acted like an shmuck by mouthing off in the media...then when the board "acted in it customary way" he further lashed out and retired. We are not defending the idiot butt..but this is not the way to play them.

If (the BIG IF) Afridi remains strong on his retirement announcement and does not take it back, his exit will mark the end of “crowd puller” in Pakistani team. We were not big crowd puller anyway ---- just a thought

the only news source announcing his retirement right now is geo news....no such reports from other channels....even on geo there is no word from the man himself...I will believe this when this news shows up on dawn or tribune!
