Afridi should not be a poster boy of Tableeghi jama'at who has been cheating in his professional life even after being an active tableeghi.
Maybe I need to change my company but many of Tableeghi people I have met so far are hypocrites of varying degrees. They consider praying five times, fasting, and other rituals be the ONLY requirements for being a good Muslim, while fulfilling rights of wife, children, employees, colleagues, students are of distant secondary importance.

That's true to an extent, we can't generalize and label all people though. The thing is tablighi jamaat is not a structured organization like we come to expect. It's just a following and mash'Allah a following in the millions. So you are bound to come across a people who are still stuck in their old mentality. You will come across beggars and then doctors, all from different countries. Also, we as "outsiders" expect too much of our tablighi brothers, when in fact they are just like us, they're learning the deen too.. We can pick out such people from other organizations too but tablighis outnumber everyone that's why there so many bad apples. IMO
