Re: Shaheen Air International

Re: Shaheen Air International

^^ yh i agree... ive travelled wid dem.. nd i hated it :(

Re: Shaheen Air International

I'll have to disagree there. I have travelled Airblue between Dubai and Pakistan several times and also on domestic flights in Pakistan. I think they've been quite ok so far.

It's definitely not an outstanding airline, but in terms of value-for-money I think they are good.

Re: Shaheen Air International

I have travelled with air blue and shaheen...air blue was fine, no problems..whereas, shaheen's service was horrible, seats are too small, and broken as well..
my sister in law asked for a seat belt for my 8 months old niece, they said they don't make it for infants :)

Re: Shaheen Air International

well i’ve traveleld with Air blue once when we went to pakistan last year first of all o nthe our e-tickets it had a different weight alloance to to the one at the airport and so we werent alowed to take some of our things.

then during the whole flight service was terrible air hostesses had such an attitude problem and where beong very rude to some of the travellers when the man who was sitting infront of me asked for a complaints address to write everything she was reluctant to give it to the man and had to walk up and down the aircraft 2 hours before she came back with an answer.

i asked for a drink once and i dint get it until we had landed in turkey for refueling etc. i can understand that they have limeted space for refreshments but they still had water she neither came back to say they dint have any or offer an alternative. when i asked her for 2 cups of water at the time my nephew was sitting with me she declined and said i was only allowed one cup :konfused: i hadnt realised this airlines had a restriction, nor was i ever told about this in the information provided by the airline at the time of booking my flights.

When i asked the lady to warm my nephews milk up slightly which i gave to her and she said she would bring it to my seat so i went and sat back down, didnt get the milk till an hour later after i asked about 5 times from 2 different air hostesses who went to check and never came back…lol

oh and when boarding the aircraft i know alot of other airline policy have a seating plan going on. because my family boarded the plane late because of the baggage issues we had at the start  two couple decided to sit in our seats. me and my sister specifically needed our seats together next to my mum (because of mums health issues) it doesnt help the fact that my seat was all the way at the bottom my sisters seat at the top my mum and nani ami sitting somwaher in the middle and my brother a few rows behind me

Re: Shaheen Air International

That sounds quite bad. It seems Airblue are still struggling with their sole long-haul flight Manchester-Islamabad. As far as I know that flight has been running for almost a year now, so by now they should really have done better.

My experiences with them have been on their short flights, ie Dubai-Lahore, Dubai-Islamabad, Islamabad-Karachi, etc. and on those routes I think they are fine.

Have you complained to their UK office? They really need to improve their service on that route if they want to expand to more places.

Re: Shaheen Air International

yeah thats the route we went on Manchester to Islo, nope i didnt make a complaint after all i didnt see the point in it it would have been a waste of my time to write the letter of complaint then forward it to them and then get no reply

next time im gona see what Amrit air is like :) i know this particular airline have a trip direct to islamabad from newcastle so i dont even have to travel all the way to manchester

Re: Shaheen Air International

How long have they been in operating for?

Re: Shaheen Air International

Amrit Air? Never heared of that one. And I didn't even find it on Wikipedia. Is that a real carrier?

Re: Shaheen Air International

someone was telling me that rejected pilots from PIA are hired by airblue.. but then that would mean lots of plane crashes no?
:hoonh:

Re: Shaheen Air International

im not sure of the exact name ive only herd of it once or twice but ive been told you get good service from them

:omg:LOL!!

Re: Shaheen Air International

Travelled with Shaheen Air quite a few times up until February 2008..no problems ever!I was surprised that they serve bfast/lunch for the domestic flights compared to the flights here in the US where you get a bag of peanuts!!!

Customer service is good too!!
