What is it misconstruing? I do personally believe that what’s good for Pakistan is good for Islam and the Ummah as a whole- so I genuinely believe that Pakistani war dead are shaheeds.

After all, the dead in the war against India in 1965 died defending a Muslim people from attack by a predominantly Hindu army.

And the dead in 1971 died trying to fight against fitnah and the invasion of Muslim-populated lands by a predominantly Hindu army.

The dead in Kargil died fighting the occupation of Muslim populated land by a predominantly Hindu army.

All these are cases are serving Islam and Allah, through the means of serving Pakistan.

many muslims in indian army also died defending.
