The summary is that the bakery guy was hit on 7th of October, but the issue was stopped from airing on the national media. On 14th October the video was posted on a facebook page called"Nawaz Noora" which was shared by 7000 people. The media had to report it, hence Shahbaz Sharif's son in law had to be handed over to police. Suddenly the witnesses went missing hence the next day the son in law was released due to non availability of witnesses.

The rot started in 2007 under Musharaf's Government. Economically the downward spiral started then. Life was under no heaven under mushraf, as you would like to thinkl t is. Prices of food items, fuel had shot up before 2008.
In 2007 Sindh was angry, balochistan was angry and large areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were falling out of control. We should thank the present regime for least appeasing Sindh and improving Khyber pakhtunkhwa. The amount of suicide bombings were at their peak in 2007 and 2008.
You migth have a soft spot for the previous Government but by 2006 most items were already unaffordable for the poor, even when at the "boom"
