ah, the bot returns.
Re: Shahbaz Sharif on the Move
Ok bird
I am little inspired with your efforts.
Sh..baz Shareef can do good but Punjab is a big province and he is alone.
One Mustafa Kamal is doing better in Karachi inspite of all evils of his Qauid and party.
Sh..baz Shareef can do better in Lahore inspite of all evils of his Qauid and party.
Let us make him Nazim of Lahore.
Re: Shahbaz Sharif on the Move
^^ sure enough we know y PPP couldn't produce any Mustafa Kamal or Shahbaz Sharif...
infact PPP have never produced anything near to these two....

Agree
Perhaps they were never given time.
Agree Perhaps they were never given time.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.. let see how true this statement is
Shahbaz Shareef was CM of Punjab from 1997 to 1999 ( this is where he earned the above mentioned reputation) before this tenure he was only a brother of ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan...
Like wise, Naimat Ullah Khan and Mustafa Kamal earned their reputation in their brief tenure.. both of them were relatively unknown and had very little backing but still they are and will be remembered for their work in Karachi...
On the other hand, got same opportunities, they have enjoyed being in government in 90s and they are in govt as of we speak... what stopped them to promote leaders like Shahbaz and Mustafa Kamal?
Qayam Ali Shah is CM of Sindh, Rayesani CM of Balochistan, I believe there are PPPP have some nazims as well, how much time they all need???
remember SS have collectively in power for 3.5 years or so, Mustafa kamal had been in power for almost the same period or little more...
Now question is, how much time does they need or the fact is that PPPP's is good enough to produce people like Fozia Wahab, Suleiman Taseer, Jahangeer Badr and last not least Asif Zardari???
Either you are ignorant or deliberately giving above stupid statement. In yester years PPP has produced stalwarts Mustafa Khar CM, Punjab (read how he controlled and averted Shia, Suni fight in view of police strike in Punjab), Mumtaz Bhutto (CM Sindh), A very strong administrator of his time. Meraj Mohmmad Khan, Meraj Khalid, Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, list goes on and on. The names you have given "in ki juti ke bhi brabar nahin hain" If you born after Bhutto's rule in senventies, you don't know anything about PPP's working during 1972-1977.
Of the names you have mentioned above, only Malik Meraj Khalid (known for his gentleness and honesty) and Abdul Hafiz Pirzada come out winners. Khar was an able administrator but he was also very corrupt and a lafanga (to put it mildly) to the core. There are so many scandals about him. Remember the adage: ‘There’s no smoke without fire’
"Pirzada withdrew from active politics in the late 80s in order to fully concentrate on his legal career. Today, Pirzada is one of the most successful and highest-paid advocates of Pakistan. On May 27, 2007 Geo TV broadcast of “Aik Din Geo Kay Saath” (A Day With GeoTV), Pirzada stated thathe** earns about Rs. 20-30 million annually, and is one of biggest tax payers in his profession."**

And while you may not like the Sharifs, there is no denying that Shahbaz Sharif (despite his weaknesses) is a very good administrator
Reverse Swing,
We are here discussing working part of personalities. The names I have mentioned were superb no comparison at all. (you have accepted Mustafa Khar, Meraj Khalid and Abdul Hafeez Pirzada). As regard lufanga part SS is not an angel either as you said in above post. Every one has its own share in badmaashi. Mustafa Kamal is a leader in most criminal party. He committed many crimes. Look into his history before he became nazim of Karachi. Remember what he said a few months ago to journlist. "Charha do youtube par".
SS is just copying Mushtaf Khara an ex PPP leader and CM Punjab of yester years.
In present days PPP leaders such as Aitezaz Ahsan, Raja Pervez Ashraf, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, Gilani, Qaim Ali Shah CM Sindh and list goes on are much much better than the two names.

If i have to go back in the past the Muslim League had the greatest leader ever.. so we better focus on political personalities of today, only if you can do that...

Now Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, please let us know about his achievements, he is well-known as Wazir-e-Load Shedding, with his poor vision and incapabilities, we have seen the electricity crisis, had he be a capable minister, he should have planned the distribution of the electricity in a way that trade, industry and agriculture sector should have least harmed but what happend in infront of every one, due to his management and leadership, the cottage industry, the small business units and relatively mid-to -bigger business units have to shut down or they lost their orders, same happend with the software industry... now the only solution he can come with is the rental power house, for which Pakistan have to put up soverign garantees... and may have to import FO to run these expensive unit... what a Leader, only PPP can have this kind of greatness
Makhdoom Amin Faheem, i wanted to ask, where he is? what is he doing? if he is so good and have capability to deliver why is he sitting of last benches, is this what PPP leadership does to a honest and capable leader...
Qayim Ali Shah, yes he is the CM, so far we have to see what he have done, other than abusing Punjab and PML (N) what is his achivement for the people of Pakistan, People of Sindh
Aitzaz Ahsan, he is not even MNA, nor does he is liked in Upper PPPP circles, the reason is obvious, the guy have stood firm with the CJP, and that is why PPPP leadership hass thrown him in the back seats..
Now in case you total ignorant or you have intentionaly chosen to stray the topic in other direction, the theme was, PPP lack the leaders who can compete with Mustafa Kamal, Naimat Ullah Khan and Shahbaz Shareef.. now if you think i am wrong and their is PPP leader on an elected seat who's performance should be highlighted then please do metion his name and achivements here and no other crap that how great the Bhuttos and his friends were etc etc...

There are many counter threads opened against these two guys you are praising. Suspending few people of lower management and building few by-passes do not make them superior. As regard load shedding, this problem is inherited from previous governments. You can not blame stupidity of previous governments on present government.
PPP when allowed to rule for longer time during 70’s, served much better way than these two thugs. After 70’s PPP was never allowed to complete its tenure and kicked out from the government by dictators. MQM and IJI and PML(N) ruled most of the time after 70’s. So comparing PPP with these two parties is just comparing apples with oranges.
Thug Mustafa Kamal took the credit of Naimatullah Khan (JI) who actually started the projects which were near completion. Read following and see how that thug you are praising cheated the public.
Naimatullah Khan or Mustafa Kamal ? Discuss
We all hear so much about Mustafa Kamal how he’s transformed the city of Karachi with all the development works. I myself was quite impressed when I visited Karachi last year but something wasn’t making much sense to me so I did my research and would like to share the results with you.
Here are some hard facts!
Mr. Naimatullah Khan was the mayor of Karachi from August 2001 to June 2005 during Musharraf’s tenure when most of the projects were proposed and approved. Money was allocated and projects initiated. Mr Naimatullah khan lost the subsequent election to MQM’s Mustafa Kamal in 2005. He comes in when all the projects are nearing their completion dates and starts taking credit for everything. Now any sane person who has lived in Pakistan would know that such large scale projects take quite a lot of time so it’ll be impossible for him to start projects and finish them within a year or two as he had been making the headlines for a long time but we never heard about Naimatullah Khan.
So my conclusion is that MQM created this hype about Mustafa and took all the credit for someone else’s hard work. Would you not agree?
Re: Shahbaz Sharif on the Move
PPP completed mega projects for Karachi during its tenure of 1972-1977 - examples are Liaquatabad's Super Market, Subway and doubling of the Ten Hatti Bridge. (no less in comparsion with current construction).
Thanks Mostar95 for opening the eyes of ignorants.

you told very less.doubling the shahrah e Faisal and Drig Road over head.Steel mill,Site road and overhead near Habib Bank and thousands other project in Karachi.
Re: Shahbaz Sharif on the Move
Well I oberserved those things in my childhood and I could only remember the things done in my area.
You actually missed the point over here, i don’t know you did it intentionally or what…
SS was not allowed to complete his tenure i.e. in 1997-1999 ( two years only) and like i said earlier, he only earned his reputation in those two years…
Mustafa Kamal did what any sane mind should have done, he instead of inventing the wheel again, started from where his predecessor left, and that is the most sane thing to do…
now what acheivements the Nazims of PPP have made is there some thing worth telling?
Now my question still stand, in 90s ( i see few have started that five yer tenure of PPP (1972-77), remember back than Bhutto was leading from the front) twice PPP got into power, both time for the period of 2 + few months ( almost the same period SS was in power as Cheif Minister of Punjab), Have PPPP produced any name which can match SS, MK and Naimatullah? that is the simple question.. if not then things to do for PPPP are following
- Stop accusing others who are actually performing for Pakistan
- Look into its own structure and fix the problem by bringing the capable leadership/persons in front
by doing above two, PPPP will regain its popularity it once have, remember till now PPPP is winning elections on the credibility and acheivements of ZAB…
PS: stop blaming previous govt now, its going to be two years in feburary and they great minister of loadshedding haven’t proposed the plan to distribute the electricity with minimal damage to the trade and industry… is previous govt is stopping him to do so or what.. this is plain incapability nothing more accept it..
Other non-sense that PML(N) ruled more than PPPP is plain ignorance on your part… if you calculate the ruling period of both PPP and PML(N) from 1988 to 1999 the difference would be of months and not years… so please think before typing and don’t act like a silly Jiala aka Jahangeer Badr.. and again just to make it clear to you, i am talking about SS tenure of 1997-99… it was two years…
