Interesting interview. Just thought I’d share.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

see majority of indians r not against pakistanis but with the sort of idelogy present in there society in which they think all the non muslims r crap-its bit like NAZI thinking-there r liberals in pakistan but in minority and we should support them becos they r the only hope for this infected country

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

Maybe so for your younger generation but your older jinnah hating pakistan disdaining establishment is still alive and kicking.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

^^

Lol jinnah hating what makes u think, not some 1940s story.most of the people in rural india wouldn't even heard about jinnah who make 70 percent of indian population, guess what I asked people from rural parts like who was the prime minister of india they had to say abdul kalam :D

Anyway young generation are going to lead india.not some 1940/50s

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

Well I have met immigrant indians who have had these views, though I must put it out that the most extreme anti-jinnah view was from a gujrati girl. But then, gujarat is a ****ed up state that had those godhra riots.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

And jinnah is from gujarat.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

Technically no, since he was born in Karachi! :p If we want to go back then mumbai was also gujarati as the area stretching from mumbai to sindh was part of the mumbai presidency; it was one of the first goals of jinnah to separate sindh from mumbai that won him support for Pakistan movement in sindh.

Gandhi was from there, but seriously what has become of that state?

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

Really?, was QeA a gujarati, i know his family had some relation/work with nawab of junagarh but i thought QeA was a sindhi, culturally and linguistically speaking. The media/history does not go much into the personal/family background of our leaders, i.e. QeA & Iqbal.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

financially gujrat is one of the richest states in the entire subcontinent.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

ive so many gujrati muslim friends from India!!! ... :)

so the reason behind being the richest state ... is their natural resources right???

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

I wasn't talking economics though that did take a hit after their 2002 actions.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

So memons count as sindhis? Jinnah probably spoke katchi, not sindhi.

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

Jinnah was born in wazir Mansion, Karachi!! and his grandfather was rajhastani!! :)

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

he spoke both Sindhi and katchi! :)

Re: Shaharyar Khan's interview to IBN

no , its due to their enterprising skills and work culture of people.
