Thanks you all for all your nice words:)
And thanks to those of you who helped me through a real hard time when I was getting really anxious before my wedding.
Everything has Alhamdulillah been really wonderful. I wore a traditional red mughal style lehnga set at the nikkah that took place in a hall full of our 200 guests.
I entered the hall while my favourite nasheed was played really loud sung by Aashiq al Rasul. The hall was beautifully decorated in red and white and my dulha just looked so beautiful:)
When I had sat down, the imam came and held a speech about importance of nikkah in Islam and the rights and duties of husband and wife. It was a really touching speech. After that nikkah took place:) and my husband who until then wasnt sitting next to me, came over to me and we gave each other rings:)
Then mithai and also bidd was given to all guest packed in red jammawaar bags and dinner was served after the guests had congratulated us.
I just loved it all:D
The walima also went well. My lehnga was really really nice and it suited me better than the nikkah wala I think. I had chosed them both myself:D
Then after a few days we went to honeymoon to Morocco and Spain and really enjoyed ourselves:)
We just came back a few days back and are settling down here. Until the wedding, I have been very nervous because we lived so far away and there were so many issues with certain persons in the in-law family.
But life is so beautiful with him:) Alhamdulillah.
