Oh btw, i got a white shalwar kameez (georgette) with baby pink nalki work on the whole kameez, with a grip ka dupatta in two shades, white and baby pink. That dress is just absolutely awesome. I fell in love with it the moment i saw it. Surprisingly the whole thing was just Rs 650 at Fortress. I will try to post a pic.

Ira, may i say something, I fall for couple of outfits like that.. yeah they are for only Rs. 600 but guess what happens is that you can't wear them once you wash them.. i got this beautiful kam wala karandi suit from lahore and it had green border stripe on it.. guess what, the green color fabric was of very low quality and it actually made patches over my white shirt once i washed it.. no i didn't mashine wash it and despite the fact i was being so careful, the green color ruined the whole outfit :(
so dun go for low prices, and if you do just becareful with washing n everything.
The outfits that i got from lahore from designers like MariaB or so, they are sooo nice n elegant.. they were pretty expensive but seriously it was worth buying those dresses :-)

GTG, t hanks for the tip. I have never shopped at a boutique but i agree they must have nice quality fabric and better, unique designs. What i found better was to buy my own fabric and get the design of my choice made on it. Its relatively cheaper and exactly like i want it. For some folks designs at the boutique maynot be what they would normally wear but they like the kaam on it. My sis doesnt wear half sleeves and everything readymade at boutiques was half sleeves with the exception of a few horrible color combinations. So we found it easier to get our own stuff sewed.

at hinab.com some of the suits are from other designers.. does she get those designs made or is she seelin a authentic designer outfit?? just curious. The prices arent bad.

yep the prices are not bad at all compared to the prices here in london.
and as for your question deviliciouss she does mention on the site that some (although i think most) outfits are taken from other magezines/designers..

ooh and checkout that grey/silver dress number 8 under formal heavy originally its by Mehdi. If she can get the exact thing made, not pricey at all. ive also emailed mehdi asking how much would he charge for it, lets see.
