Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

Shame on all those trashy lawyers and their supporters who refuse to abide by the Supreme court ruling.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

shame on our police to throwing stones and shelling at Supreme court

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

But police has alway been and will remain as such.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

So you are supporter of MQM and Mush.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

I have predicted this a week ago in my thread "Future of Mush"

That 'lubricant' is now being used on Lawyers who were supporiting CJ earlier.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

Lawyers were threatening to burn down the supreme court in July if CJ was not restored by the Free Judiciary. Now that the Free Judiciary has thrown the case out against President Musharaf and allowing the President to stand again, these lawyers are going on rampage and acting like thugs.

Shame on these lawyers indeed.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

Just remind me why they were protesting? against superme court ?? that is lately loved by them.

but handeling of this by administration is totally flawed.
they should let them burn some buildings, cars and throw stones at police and break every street light so they could call it a peacefull demonstration.

I think i dont understand, when the protest, why dont they just gether at one place, make some speaches, say some words loudly. and then disperse peacfully?

Why they always try to hit the Police and break blocked zone?? what option police has in this case?

why cant they stay peacfull in specific area and go home peacefully?

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

Lots more legal battles ahead meri jan. I hope u stick to ur stance that the judiciary is free and unbiased. Now here is what the judiciary had to say about the latest administrative adventure on Saturday:

I suppose now that the free judiciary has given a verdict against the administration, you’ll stop berating the lawyers for protesting.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

Pathetic, shame on the Government indeed...

Pak SC orders arrest of top police officials

Monday, 01 October , 2007, 15:17

Islamabad: Taking a stern view of the weekend’s violent police crackdown during protests against President Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan’s Chief Justice Iftikhar M Chaudhry on Monday ordered suspension and arrest of top police and administration officials.

Chaudhry, who took suo motu cognisance of Saturday’s police action that left dozens of lawyers and mediapersons injured, directed immediate action against those responsible for the incidents.

“This is a very serious matter…the civil administration is not doing any service to the people,” said Chaudhry, who became a rallying point for anti-Musharraf forces after he was suspended by the General in March. He was reinstated by the apex court in July following mass protests spearheaded by lawyers.

When Interior Secretary Kamal Shah, who was summoned by the Chief Justice, told the special hearing on the violence that a high-powered committee has been constituted to probe the incidents, Chaudhry said Islamabad Inspector General Marwah Shah “should be suspended and arrested as he is responsible for whatever happened”.

Chaudhry, who was told that over 80 people were wounded after police used batons and tear gas to disperse the protesters opposing Musharraf’s re-election bid, said other top police and administration officials should also be suspended. He also watched the TV footage of the incidents, which the private channels were asked to furnish to the court.

The clashes had erupted outside the Election Commission as the body approved Musharraf’s candidature for the October 6, 2007 Presidential election where he is seeking another five-year term.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

All the people supporting Mush fail to realize that regradless of whether or not the lawyers are justified in their protest, they DO have a right to protest...

The police have NO right to use violence to suppress a peaceful protest what so ever... This is just another of Mushs failures and govt cowardice revealed.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

How do you know it was a peaceful protest when the lawyers have threatened to burn down the SC?

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

^ Its funny how you and your political affiliates start caring about the SC all of a sudden, its not even in Karachi for crying out loud lol and lakri ki nahee banni hoi SC...

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

SC is a national institution and buildings don't need to be made of wood to burn. Don't post silly things.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

1) Munir Malik said that and apologised.

2) Police was neither protecting SC nor EC. It was merely interested in saving the Ministers' asses.

3) Shaheed - e - Millat secretariat was burnt down by this very administration. So please stop trying to hide behind a retracted statement of an individual.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

^ 4. And the CJ had ordered, before the verdict that the shahrah-const be kept open to everyone...

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

  1. How nice of him to apologize for making terroristic threats. Try that in the West and see what happens to you.
  2. It's their to job to protect them. But they didn't do too good of a job.
  3. ??
  4. Good to see CJ of the SC of Pakistan becoming traffic warden.

Re: Shabaash Goverment (protest in pictures)

So instead Musharraf should act like the traffic ward, along with Altaf hussain as the chandh-mahi? Andera Ujaala Part 2, wait take the ujaala out!
