Shab-e-barat and patakhay in our culture

I don’t understand the concept of using fire crackers on Shab-e-barat and history behind it. Are muslims in Pakistan and India started using this thing because they were impress with Diwali. :@: Or some kind of complex or bidah why they don’t do it on Eid. Just asking :chai:
