We already reported the war of words between Shaan Shahid and Ali Zafar. Shaan Shahid has proved that he wants to work to bring the Pakistani film industry to a point where everyone prefers to watch a Pakistani film. His recent comment on ARY Film Awards about the actors who act in India in which he called them cheap sell outs got various reactions from the public. Most of the people on the social media supported Shaan Shahid because they think that he has done enough to earn the position to judge other actors like that. Ali Zafar on the other hand has given priority to India ever since he started his career there.
Shaan Shahid gave a response to Ali Zafar statement about stars like him who go to work abroad. Here is what he had to say
Shaan needs to shut up. He's getting embarrassing. I don't know know who gave him the license to talk about talent and variety, when in actual fact, his angry gujjar monopoly on Pakistani cinema single has destroyed the cinema culture in Pakistan. Paralysed and scandalised it to its deepest depth. Now that Pakistan has free media, the entertainment industry is naturally growing, he wants to play the role of its creative director.
Whatever. I'll give him credit when he learns to make a good non propaganda movie without ISPR's budget or without gaining copyright of someone else's work. Instead of dictating other people's career moves, or begging people to stay in the industry. How about he goes on a talent hunting trip and find real gem of writers, lyricists, story tellers, musicians to make something original and memorable for once.
Iranian film industry is a slap on all these self proclaimed "artists" and "superstars" faces.
PS: The dress your wife wearing at ARY awards wasn't very 'Pakistani' either. So stop telling people to support copy cats when they are already enjoying the originals. Whining about artists going to Indian industry while proudly emulating Hollywood red carpet culture as some sort of statement. Oh the irony.
Aaj tak jitni ‘adakaaraaeyn’ Bhaarat main apna ‘talent’ dikhaanay gai hain, unn sab nay yeh rivaayat bar-qaraar rakhi hai. To ab badalnay ki kiya zaroorat hai ?
Sochnay vaali baat yeh hai keh vahaan ki ‘shareef-zaadiyaan’ Pakistan aa kar apnay mulk ke logon to iss tarah sharminda kartein kabhi ?
I don’t think so.
Ye sharf/sa’aadat sirf Pakistani actresses ko haasil hai.
Iss liyay keh vo Mussalmaan hain aur Pakistani hain.
I think there is a right in each.
Why not travel abroad and work and learn and then bring it home.
Shaan is right; the pakistani industry is dying; it needs help.

I don't see any burai in working Bollywood or Hollywood.
But those actors and actresses, should bring learned skills back to Pakistan....
And you know what pisses me off - WHY is the first thing our women folk do is take of they're clothes?
I wanna see a Sania Saeed go there and kill it with her acting skills rather then her body.
^ true tht none of them proved anything in Bollywood other than bringing shame for country, ppl in india make fun of veena, meera and latest mona liza :(
