shaan/laziza masalasss

anyone use them…which ones better,

plus has anyone else ever followed their recipes yet still didnt taste right…whats the briyani mix…

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

i use Shan masala and i like them. mostly i use Bombay biryani masala, Achaar Gosht, Nihari, Chaat masala, Tikka masala. Never made Biryani from scratch always use shan masala and turns out great.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

Laziza is not much popular but they are the very best.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

We usually use Laziza at home. I think they are very good and it might not be as popular as Shaan, but honestly I think the quality is somewhat the same if not better. I have used a few Shaans. Plus in Laziza you often get two bags in one bag :D

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

Laziza is better than shaan.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

we use shaan and out of all the biryani mix, sindhi biryani is what we like the most! I cook using masala packets but my husband makes his own masalas.. he doesn't like the packet ones!!!

Last time I got Laziza's aloo bukhaara chutney packet and I was charged double saying because it has two packets.. I was surprised because it had never happened before!!

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

I think i like Shan too for the biryani at least. I havnt tried many other brands out there .. Not a big fan of them really !

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

The are equally good. You can fortify them by adding somethings more of , the things you think are not enough in their recipe. Like for Paya masla or qorma masala I add jaifal and jawatri and then add some kewra once the they are ready to be served.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

LAZIZA BOMBAY BIRYANI MIX no other choice specialy in biyani for getto
gather

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

I never ever follow the recipe exactly. Always do a bit of tweaking here & there & that's when it tastes real good.

Laziza's dessert mixes are good. I really like their Ras malai & Falooda mix.

Shan is ZEEE best. Although I have my own Sindhi Biryani recipe which is quite good. Their Sindhi Biryani mix is really good too. Here is what I have tried from Shan with my own additional ingredients as well & really liked.

Shan Nehari, Sindhi Biryani, Pulao Biryani, Achar Chicken, Kofta salan, Chicken Broast, Haleem Mix, the 30 minute Haleem mix (I still cook it for at least 5 hours) Shami Kabab, Chapli Kabab.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

We also use shaan for biryani, nihari, achar gosht, chaat masala and I think Haleem. BUT we don't follow the recipes, we just add the masala along with more from the pantry. I want to try the shaan sindhi biryani, I heard its good.

Re: shaan/laziza masalasss

DO please. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out absolutely delicious!!

But my family and i are not a fan of the boxed masalas. We make everything from scratch and just add a few tablespoons (if necessary) of shan masala biryani mix or nihari for that extra taste. We used to have shan bombay mix a lot...but then i tried the sindhi biryani and fell in love with it. Now i just make my own version of sindhi biryani without shan's help.
