Shaam, Singhaar aur Jinnat

Re: Shaam, Singhaar aur Jinnat

It all makes sense to me...

Elders only repeated what they were taught, besides the Koran speaks of jinnat and common sense says avoid darkness or at least be indoors before nightfall.

Besides our people were always so superstitous and perhaps with good reason...

I know in the Colonial times the British and thier allies swept through most of what is now Pakistan and my own people fled to the border and the bravest took a south westerly route.

My ancestors were pushed as far as Kohat, but no further they chose to give battle but the question was when to launch a suprise attack, some said it would be best to attack at night when the British would be tired from marching and making thier camps... others said that the next day would be better... but the first group argued by that time the British would be fresh and alert.

In the end they overuled the motion that suggested a night attack, it would be stupid to tempt fate and Allah knows what perils lie in the dark... nightvision goggles and such were a no no.... so they attacked at wolf dawn, just before first light... the British fled... it was a complete victory.

So yeah best to save things for the early morning rather than the night.
