hi,
does anybody have any info on shaadi venues in gujranwala? in particular marian hotel on G.T road? my siblings and cousins all had their weddings there, but that was a few years ago..
any help would be appreciated!

i was in pakistan about this time last year and my cousin had the mehndi and shaadi events here. it was really nice!! the decor and food was very elegant and classy. since it was "one dish" going on, they couldnt have many items for the baraat menu, but since the mehndi was a family party sort of thing, there was a very big menu. everything was served piping hot to every table and one thing was better than the next. i also think it was great in the sense that they did the stage decor too....and it was a nice setup!

yes inshAllah :) i think my mamoo is in the process of finalising the booking, my sis and brother and other cousins had their weddings around 2006-7 so wasnt sure how the venue was like now.. i think the plan at the moment is to have it in the outdoor setting.. dont know what that is like.. i hope they set it up nice! :)
the wedding you attended was inside or outside?

it was indoor....but they say its the best hotel in the gujranwala area. so you should be fine! my other cousin getting married this november is also having all three events there. its quite popular i guess!

i just found out we might be having it at chenab (?) now... apparently the hall there is nice, but i have no clue about it!
