Shaadi lehnga with new shirt?

Hi Guppans,
I need your opinion please. Since I got married in 2008 my original shaadi lehnga has a short shirt but with fashion trends changing and girls wearing longer kameez with lehnga I am wondering if I can do just a long plain shirt with my heavy lehnga and dupatta?

i would say just get a bit kaam done on the neck line and border and you are good to go. completely plain wouldn't look right

or you can get some lace matching ur work and get the shirt made

go for it :) I think completely plain will be fine if u r planning on wearing zevar too. With a heavy dupatta and heavy lehngaa ..... it will look great. AND YAY FOR GETTING USE OUT OF YOUR LEHNGAA AGAIN!

I'm planning to do the same thing for my brother's wedding -- wear my shadi gharara with a new shirt and dupatta. The gharara has the lower gote, so a long shirt will look nice on it. I'm excited!
