I thinks it different for every family, some do and some dont. I ve even heard of girls side giving the grooms side the mehndi outfit- we didnt do this ether but there was a rasam which the grooms mother did insist on and thet was giving the grooms side food when it was the girls rukhsati- some strange tradition???
yah i also have heard about the mehndi one.. but usually the groom;s side give the mehndi outfit to the girl lol leking kafhi log larkey ko bhi mehndi ka outfit dehde hain
