As I’m going to get married later this year, Inshallah, I wanted to ask:
What’s “in” these days as a dulha suit and what’s “out”?
How about a shalwar kameez and a shariwaani?

Re: Shaadi ke kapray…
i am out of touch with whats “in” in pakistan right now.. but i think the traditional shairwaani looks :k:
I agree with Suroor. Shairwani is a good choice for the wedding. :)

Umar sahb...try Amir Adnan. He's the man when ur looking for kurta shalwaars or sherwanis.
u can check out his collection on amiradnandotcom....
Best of luck for ur wedding......or hamare liye bhi dua karein...:)
In Lahore, check HKB or Men’s Store
In Karachi, Amir Adnan, Junaid Jamshed’s Kurta Corner, Deepak Parvani and Aijazz are some of the places you can visit to get an idea of what’s in these days.
…and yes, it’s still the sherwanis though i wouldn’t go as far as calling them traditional..they are neat though :k:
Good luck :~)

Sherwani.. so you look special.. !!!
Though kurta and churi daar pajamas are in aaj kal but still for a groom , umer i think sherwani is the best clothing!!
As for designers....deepak parwani and Aijazz are my favourites.
Good luck :)

here’s few suggestions from my side:
if i had been shopping for dulha clothes..i would rather buy them from open market instead of designer shops..last year meri literally chapalain ghis gai theen for shopping a dulha suit. Lets say if you buy the same thing at designer..its like Rs. 8,000-12,000 and in open market like some areas of saddar and empress markets its lot reasonable (talking about karachi here). Plus, every shop in those markets basically contain dulha suits..so you can can variety.
Secondly, sherwani looks great..but you hardly wear it after..so my suggestion is get those 2/3 piece jacket..lamba style thing with shalwar qameez. You can wear those type of attire even after the wedding..like in dawatain etc.
Lastly, keep looking up fashion sites and open a thread in the img in the meantime..i am sure..it will be helpful in the decision making process
Best regards for the shadi ![]()
Blue or Black Three-piece suit, I'd suggest because it's simple, accurate and attractive. What else do you wish for.
Happy Marriage in advance, Umer. :)

Yes, Sharaabi is prolly right but now JJ has his own outlet (i have forgotten the name)…Zamzama Karachi par kisi se bhi pooch lena (agar idhar se shoppingan karni hoon tou!
)
Good luck!
