Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

What are some of the elite or most expensive shaadi halls in Karachi or Lahore?

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

Lahore:

the best one
Function Halls, Pearl Continental Hotel

other good ones
Function Halls, Avari Hotel
Dewan-e-Khas, Gaddafi stadium

can also try other halls from hotels, ie, holiday inn etc

Newly opened
Mughal-e-Azam, Barket Market

Kaser-e-Noor

you can also try Police Club and Defence Club halls

apart from this almost the same
some near qaddafi stadium and
two on Queens Road(Mehak and four seasons)

rest are mostly locals and sub standards.

Re: Shaadi Hall’s in Pakistan

i went to three weddings last month and all the shaadi halls i went to were :yuck: so ganday, the most paindoo ghataiya halls i ever seen. teeny tiny ants crawling out of the cracks, spiders hanging from the ceiling in teh bathroom, no toilets , and if there were toilets, they were dirty, no tissues/towels anywhere. Most of the halls didnt’ even have tables to serve food, just plastic patio furniture chairs…i’ve seen better decor at McDonalds…

If you have the opportunity, i suggest you go to the venues yourself to see how it is…IMO the ones shak kills listed, PCHotel and Qasr E Noor seem to be teh best…they may be pricey but sometimes it’s worth it…

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

karachi:

marriott, sheraton
pc
avari

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

Thanks for the info....by the way how expensive is the PCHotel? Like how many ruppees or dollars are we talking about? And how many months in advance do we have to book halls?

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

What about Rawalpindi?

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

CM: I was looking more for lahore, karachi, or sarghoda...but thanks anyway

Re: Shaadi Hall's in Pakistan

my sisters wedding was in Avari in Karachi in January'05.
I believe we paid around 100,000 pak rupees for the hall (this excludes food). We also booked another area for Dinner which was 70,000 pak rupees in total (this was needed as dinner is no longer allowed at wedding Receptions and so this alternative was 'suggested ' and so we went for it).

Re: Shaadi Hall’s in Pakistan

I have got married recently so I know what are the rates for PC

they dont charge by halls but by number of guests.

its has 4-5 difference menus to choose from. so prices also vary
PKR 450 to 700 per head. hmm cant remember was it inclusive of taxes ( 15 % GST) or not.

the maximum guests allowed by law is 300 if more, then hotel will serve only one dish;)

it include
full 3 course dinner, hall sitting and a room for the couple (only for wedding day not Waleema)

another tip, they offer discounts if you know someone at decent post in hotel or in bureaucracy, cause i got this done discount twice lowering 700 menu to 500
