This leads to the next question - why is there good in the world if creation is separated from God? The answer in Islamic tradition is that God is also present in His creation in spite of the separation and transcendence. Whenever we experience anything good, beautiful, truthful, compassionate we are experiencing His presence. ‘Submission’ in Islam means submission to God’s presence by actively choosing goodness, beauty, truth, compassion through exercise of our free will.
The world was given in the hands of evil. Remember? Satan asked God to allow him to mislead humans & he was permitted. It was Satan's open challenge which was accepted. So expecting the world to be filled with goodness is ignorance. Yeah, those who ensure to not be misled by our enemy & follow all the guidelines to stay protected mostly find goodness in the world & if / when faced by challenges & trials, it's easier for them to get through because of their strong faith & sin-free life.
God warns all the humans in Surah Baqrah:
"Enter into Islam completely and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."
Pakistani understanding is messed up. How I see it is simply follow basic guidelines & protect yourself. Why should we read prayers & lot of Quran? Simply because prayers & Quran are effective tools of protection. Anyone can equip themselves with those tools any time they desire & protect themselves from satanic attacks.
What makes prayers / reading Quran so powerful to protect any human? Regular 5 times prayers in time elevates one's personal viberations that helps bring any human closer to sin-free angels & reading Quran promotes harmony & peace of heart because on every letter of Quran sits an angel protecting that letter & protecting & blessing every human who reads it. In prayers also we read Quran. In addition to that, humans need to keep their minds, hearts, bodies & surroundings very clean & clear. Free from any negative emotion (all the negative emotions are created by satan). Think well of others. That brings blessings because angels like to surround in / around places / people who are purified of negative emotions & thoughts. Because that means they do not allow Satan & his demons into their space (by implementing islamic guidelines of protection from satan).
The world is predominantly evil. But we can make it good for ourselves & others by strictly being positive & use all the tools given to us by God. Satan loves spreading misery. So if you find yourself faced by one or more individuals to make you feel miserable, its a clear sign they're controlled & misused by satan because they are unprotected. So tackle them just like how you'll tackle Satan. Equip yourself with all the basic tools & guidelines for protection. It's that simple.
Reject all the waswasas whispered by satan. When you accept those waswasas, you allow him some space to live in your heart / mind making it easier to control you more. But by rejecting & refusal to accept any kind of destructive emotion / thoughts whispered by satan one can easily throw him out hence he won't find any place to live & control your actions.
When more individuals start practicing the same guidelines then higher viberations created by those individuals positively affect more indoviduals. The trend will spread & slowly purify all the world. Every individual must play his part. The rest will follow.
