She makes some good points on how women are represented in advertising.

Actually his Avatar implies either he:

  1. cannot spell, or

  2. because the “your” is a second person personal pronoun that by definition relates an object to the possessor and in reading the declatory statement, the only subject would be him as the “I” - he is relating himself to the reader (the possessor). Stupid in the sentence is the adjective being used to describe the subject (the sentence has only one subject the “I”).

Therefore the statement reads: “I am a nerd but I am stupid and belong to you”

It's not just gramm*a*r - it's spelling. You need to stop relying on spell check - using the wrong words may get you into a spot of trouble.

When I was younger, I had dreams of being an English teacher who had a thick red sharpie with which I marked my students’ papers.

Since going back to Teacher’s College is too much effort, I satisfy my need by correcting fellow guppies. So thank you for letting me live my dream.

More on topic, some of those ads are appalling - especially the one where the lady is lying down on the ground as rug to be stepped on by the guy :nahi:

I’ll acknowlege that KP is a little devilish - after all she’s one of the charmed ones - but that’s why she’s my hero(ine).

But challo, no more picking on your grammar or spelling, in fact next time you have to write a paper, I’ll proofread it for you so your teacher doesn’t take off too many marks you can ill afford to lose :wink:
