I duno about the gay/lesbian threads (even though, i guess ppl have a rite to discuss those issues too), but the others u have mentioned; sex, periods etc…r all a part of life…for a girl, a question about her “period” is a legitimate health question…and as far as sex goes, i guess it’s how u perceive it…i haven’t read all the sex threads…but if a couple of ppl r writing inappropriate “dirty” posts, then the mods shud deal with them only…the whole thread shudn’t be closed or something…it is possible for us to discuss these natural things in a mature manner isn’t it? No offense but, if u don’t like the topic, don’t participate in it…that’s wot i do.

I think these too explicit threads must be locked because there is no difference between an Indian forum and a Pakistani forum then. Look how the Indian forums are discussing these issues. We are supposed to be different from them.
Just to give you an example. My work place Hindu employee started to visit an Indian forum and after three days, the access was blocked by the institution. The message was “The website you are trying to reach has ADULT content” cannot be viewed from our system"
I know it was a discussion forum affiliated with a website where Indian boys and girls can post explicit pictures etc. The Hindu guy can open the website at home. While I can open www.gupshup.org from my work place. I never received any warning like this. And I am proud of it. Gup Shup zindabaad. Mods, please keep an eye on these threads. We don’t want to be like them. We have our own dignity.

Furqan sex is part of normal life but I agree with you here as this site claims to be family oriented then the discussion should either be controlled or sober enough for young guns to understand.
