Re: sex & the city
I don’t like it but i do like the MAD TV parody of it
. Totally depicts what that series was all about.
Re: sex & the city
^ HOw was hte mad TV parody?
Re: sex & the city
watched some episodes at a friend's place and i liked, had some ridiculously funny moments. some of the lines carrie types out for her articles have a ring of truth in them.
Re: sex & the city
Yeah...every desi chick's promiscuous fantasies depicted vicariously on TV...
Re: sex & the city
As IF…u knew every desi chick’s promiscuous fantasy ![]()
and as IF…u had seen enough episodes to determine what its all about ![]()
Shoor: i love the one-liners by carrie. she can say so much in so little words. thats my fav part about the show.
Re: sex & the city
It's better than I thought it would be. It's a show that's easily dismissed because of its title and presumed content.
I like how Miranda and Samantha depict two very different approaches spawned by the feminist movement.
My only criticism of it is that Carrie really doesn't have the persona of a writer -- I don't believe that she is anything special as a writer, and it would be nice if that were conveyed better in terms of the script and acting.
Re: sex & the city
best show ever
Re: sex & the city
I like the show, I watch it whenever I get a chance... I think it is funny...

:k:
Re: sex & the city
I saw all the seasons of the show
Re: sex & the city
I’ll admit, i dismissed it at first because from what I heard about it , it seemed like it was just about pathetic promiscuous old women who couldn’t get/keep a man. And now that I’ve watched the show, I still feel the same :k:
Re: sex & the city

i cannot STAND miranda!
u know i sort of have the same issue with carrie. her personality sometimes to me comes across as a bit immature and undeveloped for her age. its cute, but sometimes hard to digest.
for some reason samantha comes across as most "real" among them.
Re: sex & the city
u knwo some of the stuff carrie and samantha wear at times is a bit whacked, but they carry it off pretty well. i like.

Miranda is actually a guy who lost his private parts during Gulf War I and then had a tri pass sex change to transform him into her current look.
PS: Can you tell that I don't like Miranda?
Re: sex & the city
HAHAHHAHAHAAHA someone tell him that miranda’s views are most “UN-FEMINIST” of them all ![]()
i really wish those that have no idea what the show is about would stop replying. if u need to take out frustrations about feminism and stuff like that ..please make friends with syedabduallah and wreck havoc in the culture forum. thanks.
