I understand that muslims are to refrain from sex while fasting, but if a couple had sex before beginning their fast, and they slept before sehri. Did not get up till duhr. During that time they did not clean themselves because they were asleep. Would that nullify their roza? or should they just take a bath after waking up and pray fajir, qaza along with zuhr and continue with their fast.
Married couple can have sex from end of the roza to the time of sehri...

BUT they need to purify themselves before the start of the roza. If they enter the roza in an impure state, it wont be a roza. That is why, even in non fasting months, it is highly recommended in Islam to take a shower right after having relations with ur spouse, before you go to sleep. Because if you dont, chances are you wont do it first thing in the morning either, because of laziness, and that will keep u away frmo salat-ul-fajr.
And if you die while asleep, you will at least die in a pure state.

If you have sex with your wife any time before sehri but then do not have time to do ghusl--the roza WILL still count although it will be a Makruh thing to do. (This is the Hanafi ruling. Wallahu aalam).
You should try to do ghusl as soon as possible and definitely before the next prayer time as Our Master SAyyedina RAsool Allah said that angels do not enter the house in which there is a junub present [ie a person in a state of impurity requiring ghusl].

Actually, there is no proof given here so unless someone can back it up with a hadith or an ayah, this is what my believe is.
If they didnt wake up, but they had the intention to wake up for Sehari before they went to sleep, their fast is still counted good. It does not depend on the state of your impurity to keep a fast, but it depends on the intention (niyah). So if they had the niyah then their fast would be counted since in ramadhan you have to have niyah before fajr to have your fast valid.
As for the sexual intercourse, husband & wife are allowed to have their relationships after breaking the fast and up till the fajr time when they have to keep their fast.
