Kama Sutra is the earliest text of Hindu writings and it begins like this:
“…. In the beginning, the Lord of Beings created men and women, and in the form of commandments in one hundred thousand chapters laid down rules for regulating their existence with regard to Dharma,…..”
The original texts are very long and very time consuming to read (and to understand). There are various summaries available that capture the essence of love making in much more understandable terms. It takes the evil out of sex and presents it in much more natural way, the way it was meant to be.
Kamasutra is not just a book..it is guide to life. If no sex, no life. had people followed even 20% (that would be 18 different positions) of it, this world would be much pleasant place to live.
Ok, let's talk about sex and sacredness from a more Islamic perspective. From An-Nawawi's collection of hadiths....
On the authority of Abu Dharr :
Some of the companions of the messenger of Allah said :" O Messenger of Allah, the affluent have made of with the rewards, they pray as we pray they fast as we fast, and they give away in charity the superfluity of their wealth." He said:" Has not Allah made things for you to give away in charity ? every tasbihah is a charity, every takbirah is a charity, every tahmidah is a charity, and every tahlilah is a charity, to enjoin a good action is a charity, to forbid an evil action is a charity, **and in the sexual act of each of you there is a charity."
They said: "O Messenger of Allah, when one of us fulfils his sexual desire will he have some reward for that?" He said: "Do you not think that were he to act upon it unlawfully he would be sinning ? Likewise, if he has acted upon it lawfully he will have a reward."**
What about the missionary ishstyle? Is that Islamic, Xtian,Hindu or derived from necessity? and why the name missionary. I mean is the priest on a mission? wtf is going ova heah.
