Im sure most men would be okay to abstain during a womens menstruating period, but for those who cant there is always foreplay & oral sex. Not all sexual activity has to involve vaginal penetration.

If the women feels that way then the couple can always come to an agreement. Maybe the guy can return the favour by giving oral sex when the women is not menstruating.

SO? Even if a guy isnt a virgin when he marries, he was a virgin at one point which meant he could control himsefl for at least a while. If you can control yourself for 5-6 years then why not for 5 days?? Any non-intercourse sexual activity only seems to benefit the guy, not really the woman..

guys want it all the time period...doesnt matter wat the time it is...he wants it... and to top it all this is wat i heard once a guy starts to have sex....he wants it even more...its and addiction....so sad...i hope it doesnt happen to me...

you can still enjoy all this after marriage…its just that u’ll have another person to enjoy it with. you know i was thinking theres so many places that i would love to visit…but these places i only want to go with my husband…cuz i will only enjoy it 100% when im with him…so i’ll wait till we’re married:)

just had a couple of questions…

1. some couples prefer to have sex everyday after marriage…ive heard some guys find it hard to abstain in the days when women are menstruating (i.e. they want to have sex even in them days). at this time of the month what should the couple do since islamically it would not be correct to have intercourse?

2. I remember last year I was at uni…and saw some girls who were really angry,… some of whom seemed really furious. I knew these girls…so i went up to them and asked them what the discussion was about. they said they had just come from an islamic talk…where the speaker said something along the lines of “when a woman is pregnant…and the man cant have sex for almost 9 months…alot of men at that time feel the urge and they cant control themselves…in this case they should consider having another wife” the girls got really angry at him saying this. instead of saying the guy should take care of his wife, they were angry that the speaker said the guy should just go and get another wife to fulfill his sexual needs. what are peoples views about this?

If he wants it that bad and can't keep it in his pants for four-five days while she's having her period then she should help him out by giving him some lotion and privacy. I'm sure he'll figure out what to do.

Instead of taking care of her husband's needs if a wife resorts to such tactics, she is selfish and uncaring. Her husband is better off without her.

Read Angel Eyes' comment on this matter. Why do you people turn life & happiness into a barter? When you bring your own scarcity mentality into a r'ship you not only make yourself miserable but you also deprive others of their happiness.

As far as the 9 months of pregnancy is concerned, whoever said that women can't have intercourse during those 9 months has no clue what they're talking about. If there are no complications with the pregnancy, after talking to the OB-GYN about it, women can have intercourse up until the point when the water breaks. Of course, the couple has to play around with different positions so the woman is comfortable and the baby isn't in any danger.

*As far as those few days each month is concerned, and also 40 days after pregnancy, it is possible to satisfy your partner sexually without intercourse. You just need to be open to trying other "activities". :D *
