some couples prefer to have sex everyday after marriage…ive heard some guys find it hard to abstain in the days when women are menstruating (i.e. they want to have sex even in them days). at this time of the month what should the couple do since islamically it would not be correct to have intercourse?
I remember last year I was at uni…and saw some girls who were really angry,… some of whom seemed really furious. I knew these girls…so i went up to them and asked them what the discussion was about. they said they had just come from an islamic talk…where the speaker said something along the lines of “when a woman is pregnant…and the man cant have sex for almost 9 months…alot of men at that time feel the urge and they cant control themselves…in this case they should consider having another wife” the girls got really angry at him saying this. instead of saying the guy should take care of his wife, they were angry that the speaker said the guy should just go and get another wife to fulfill his sexual needs. what are peoples views about this?

First part- There are always ways to get around without having intercourse. I don't want to get into that but you can use your imagination and figure out what i'm trying to say.

Sex during pregnancy is okay, at least i’ve never heard anything that says its not allowed or bad. So for a molvi to say that u can just find a woman to sleep with fo those 9 months, i dunno who to feel sorry for, the wife, or hte girl he fks and throws away liek a tissue (unless she goes along with it )

one of the main duties of a wife is to fulfill the sexual needs of her husband. Now, ofcourse, there will be obstacles in the way like mensturation, pregnanacy etc, but the onus is on the wife to get creative and find different ways of sexual gratification. Surely the husband will be understanding given the circumstance.
If he wants it that bad and can't keep it in his pants for four-five days while she's having her period then she should help him out by giving him some lotion and privacy. I'm sure he'll figure out what to do.
Unless the doctor specifically says not to for health reasons, most couples have sex during pregnancy. so yea the husband will need to have sex only with his wife, no extra women are allowed or needed here:wink:
Although, this is wierd to assume that a man will not be able to control himself (exceptions might happen as there are many pervs everywhere) and instead of taking care of his wife, understanding her, and showing some respect and love, he would want to have sex? It is well known that you can not have intercourse while fasting. If urge is that much, one can always fast. Will be good to earn some sawaab… although I am not sure why it is not possible to have sex during pregnency… I understand, women may not feel well and guys should respect that.. in that case, they have the perfect guide in Rasoolulah:saw:

No. it is not correct & I am sure most men can abstain. Some probably cannot but on the other hand I know some women cannot.

Whoever this speaker is, needs help. Sex during pregnancy is perfectly fine but some guys usually get scared only because they feel like harming the child or other psychological reasons. The only time when sex is not permissible is after pregnancy for around 40 days (healing process etc.) that is usually called "Chhila" in punjabi.
Second marriage option for sex because a man cannot do it during first wife's pregnancy is ridiculous.
u can have sex during pregnancy even until water breaks. But ofcourse, with the permission of the doc.
As far as Islamic point of view is concerned, there's no such thing as waiting till 9 months are over. I agree with najim about Chilla period.
this thread has become trash but regarding the topic, i also myself heard a molvi proudly screaming on tv that the reason men are allowed 4 wives are to satisfy their 'manyly' needs cz one woman is not capable of satisfying him all he time and men NEED IT. he sounded like a pimp and some porn promoter. i still hate the face of that famous molvi. if i ever met him, id puke on him.
some men (and some women) are starved for sex. they want it daily or even more. it is not necessarily pleasureable but it satisfy their sex hunger.
