Just finished making it.
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
Interesting... R u a Delia at heart?
A man gave us a jar or Delia recipe marmalade, it was quite nice.
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
^This is my first attempt. Everything went smoothly but in the end i mucked it up by letting it cook for too long so it became dark and thicker than the usual marmalade but taste is okayish.
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
looks yummy. i love marmalade, esp the homemade kind, naturally sweet, slightly bitter.
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
Wow, that's hard work! It looks yummy and I admire you for doing all that.
I'm too lazy to google; what's a Delia?
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
lol my dad used to make this and ended up with a LARGE mess that my mom hated cleaning up!
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
^I know my brother used to make some yummy biryani but with using all the dishes and pans....I'm gonna teach my boys to clean dishes and tidy up, it'll be a lot easier for their wives.
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
^ haha im sure daddy will spoil them all over again ![]()
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
^That's so true spock bro....i heard a scholar saying that children take anger from their mothers and untidyness from their fathers.

What's a Delia??? If u live in the UK it is a CRIME not to know what a Delia is!!!
OK, if u r not from here, Delia is like the UK cooking Martha Stewart, she's been on TV for years teaches cooking.

YIKES! Oh-oh! Hmmmm, u know my mom has often said that her kids inherited the "messy" genes from my dad. But now, i'll use the above quote to tell her about the anger bit, LOL! I wonder if there is any scientific truth to it.
However, when I do decide to clean.....I turn the whole place bottom side up and do a thorough cleaning. It's like i morph into my mom in those moments, lol:)
Re: Seville Orange Marmalade (handmade)
