I don't have such experience but I do have something to share:
Right before I came to the US in 90s, I was in Pakistan and was to travel from one city to another. I boarded a bus with my uncle. After I got in the bus, for NO reason I told him I don't want to travel on this bus. There was nothing wrong, it had seats available, in fact it was about to leave the bus station. Anyway, we took another bus that left about an hour after that bus left. While going to the other city, we passed by another bus that had fallen off the highway and had crashed. Not sure about deaths/survivals but it was the same bus that we had boarded earlier. I was glad that we got out, otherwise I probably wouldn't be typing this today.

Wow. So why did uncle listen to you? i mean were u screaming and yelling and crying??? i mean i imagine if i was getting on a bus, and teh kid wiht me started crying i'd smack him and tell him to sit quiet...lol.

Well, my uncle is only 3 years older than me, so he must've been 17-18 back then. We are very good friends. I just told him that let's catch the next bus. He said okay. That's it.

Oh okay. that makes more sense then, i thot u meant..u were a lil kid and he was old.

i had an accident 12 years ago and sustained head injury. was in coma for 2-3 days and the doctor told my parents that if i am not out of coma in next 1-2 days then better take him to appollo in delhi bcoz the chance of survivin is very less. but apunch bach gaya.

once in pakistan i took off the thing out of tub so the water could drain.
Drain pipe was shared for bath tub and washroom floor drain.
instead water started coming to the wash room. By the time I noticed that water was already few inches high on the floor. And I had small cassette player on the floor. That player was also attached to the power out let.
IT was dipped in the water.
I could smell it burning , water on the floor must have 440 volt in. I quickly stood up in the top of toilet bowl. I was able to unplug the cassette player. I believe with the towel.
That few mins. I felt like it was the "time"
no biggi.
And yes one time in "thendiani" ,town close to abottabad, we got stuck on the mountains. It was aleast 80 degree steep to 100-200 feet down to the road.
Me and my cousin, and the local ppl watching thought were going to die. But we manage to come down. Local ppl guided us from the road.
When we got down they yelled at us "tum yahan merny ky lia aa jata hy"
We still thank full to them for guiding us to safest possible path on 80 degree steep.

Hmmm, near death experiences.None so far.
Severe injuries, none so far either. I've had bad falls, flipped 180 degrees when I was riding my bike and hit something unexpected.Always scaped relatively unscathed, just minor scratches and bruises.
Then again, I've still got a while to go and have a lot to experience and learn.
