Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Million people will have to be killed before you will see any changes in Pakistan.

Same stupid party system, rapist and murderer running government what can you expect.

That's why we need to establish other coastal cities, 15 provinces, 4 non-ethincs democratic party system.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

The possibility of Army/ISI's hand behind these two events cannot be ignored.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Genius, I have been saying that for a long time. People think I am some unrealistic person.

In real, to get things straight these mites needs to be parish.

10000 of Military top ranks, pro American and a lot of pro Talibans.
10000 of leaders of all political parties.
20000 of Pakistani Taliban. I think that might be the number, including those who harbour them.
5000 of CIA and RAW agents in our establishment and key posts.
10000 of sardars, waderas, chaudhries and the likes.
100,000 of Jiyalays, MQM terrorists, JI, JUP and ANP etc workers.
500000 of the rapists, murderers, goons, dons, smugglers and corrupt civil officers including judiciary. 60% of the elites will be wiped out I believe in this case.
100000 of corrupt policemen.

Reduce military and its expenditure by 30% initially and 50% in ten years. Spend that money to train and equip honest police force with the latest technology. Spend more on R&D in civil and military sector, increase export and manufacturing. Tripple the current educational budget. Subsidise grocery items and pay rebates to lower income.

After 10 years Pakistan will be a new Malaysia (atleast Malaysia of early 90s) and progressing rapidly with real ecnomic growth. Not to hold kashkol again in front of US for any service in proxy war or depending on foreign remit and privatization.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Smooth saheb are you somehow related to Hitler?

Reduction in military spending is not a good idea, Pak needs a strong army- only if it could be persuaded to give up its political ambitions. Things will slowly start getting better and better if the fools of the army don't derail the ongoing democratic process.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

^ nope I am not. But if we don't do that (sure we won't as nobody has courage to), the current chaos in provinces and FATA will continue which will end in failure of the state (God forbid). Country's integration is not in the hands of Army, you should know by now in last 2 years of events. But the hidden hand. The people I mention are plague to our society and they could have eaten people alive and destroy Pak completely. But Pakistan is a haven for the corrupt elites, Military and fanatic Mullahs. No place for ordinary citizens.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Keen observers and those who can think beyond the provincial boundaries, can easily track down the fact that thuggery of mqm and thuggery of Panjabi lobby (or any other political party for that matter) are very much comparable and identical.

It’s hypocritical to ostracize a single group for its misdeeds when we ourselves are guilty of the same misdeeds and much more.

The moment we free our minds of ‘boxed’ thinking, we start to see facts as they really are, because then our vision is not polluted by personal biases.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Restless,

I agree with you. But that single group is always being first to initiate violence and killings. MQM should stop this nonsene. They can not terrorise the remaining Pakistanis. They should understand this. Sooner the better for them.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Inna lillahi wa inna illahi rajaoun. May the people that have been killed rest in peace, and my their families have sabar.

Any news on who were the people that got killed?

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

MQM has long been supported by Hijra RAW- Altaf Hussain's stay in London is financed by Bhattas and money from Hindustan- its no secret that he has denounced by Pakistani passport and now is a dual citizen of Britain and India. Time to bring back Naseerullah Babar to Karachi!

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Of the 6 people who were burnt to death in this violence, 5 of them were MQM activists, including one 23-year old who had gotten married one day earlier.

Yesterday the MQM were terrorists, today it seems it it the MQM’s opponents are the terrorists, burning people alive. Which Pakistanis will sink terrible things tomorrow?

KARACHI: Out of six of the people, who were burnt at Tahir Plaza on April 9, five belong to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and the total death toll of its activists has reached six. Nobody was an advocate among the dead, said Anwar Alam at a press conference by the MQM’s Rabita Committee at Nine Zero Thursday.

“The peace of the city is being disturbed in a well-planned conspiracy and we demand the president, prime minister, governor and chief minister hold an independent and neutral inquiry,” he demanded.

Sobia alias Gurya (w/o Shoaib Raza resident of Gulistan-e-Johar) and Razi Batool (w/o Nadeem Shaikh resident of Gulistan-e-Johar) were agents of the MQM during the polls for Hyder Abbas Rizvi and Faisal Sabzwari. Basit Mehmood was an activist of the MQM’s unit No 125 Orangi Town, a resident of Faiz-e-Aam Colony. Dawer Hussain wa an activist of MQM unit No 107 Shah Faisal Colony and a resident of Al-Falah Society. Saeed Akhter alias Danish was an activist of MQM’s unit No 107 Shah Faisal Colony. T

KARACHI: A young woman who was married a day earlier lost her husband and brother in the Tahir Plaza tragedy. Four out of the six victims were identified by their clothes, hair and mobile phones a day later on Thursday. Two women are still at the morgue

Twenty-three year old Saeed Akhtar alias Danish was married a day before his death. “My brother was very happy. We did not do anything wrong to anyone in our lives,” said his brother Ali at the Edhi morgue. “Why was our family victimized?”

Danish was the fifth of nine children in a relatively poor family of Sector 11.5, Irani Camp, Orangi Town. He started work in the embroidery business and got married to a girl he loved. According to Ali, Danish had gone out to get his Nikkah Nama so he could frame it in the house. He left at 12:30 p.m. with brother-in-law Dawar Hussain while the family prepared for the festivities. The elderly Dawar, a resident of Shah Faisal Colony also perished in the fire.

A while later Danish called and said he was stuck in the riots that broke out but then his cell phone was switched off. He was identified by his cell phone and trousers.

“I cannot believe he is dead,” said friend Farhan Ali outside the morgue. “It feels like he left for work and just hasn’t come back.”

The second victim who was identified was Chakiwara resident 33-year-old Makhdoom Altaf Abbasi advocate who owned the office on the sixth floor. He was identified by his brother Ghulam Qadir.

The third victim was identified as 23-year-old Basit Mehmood, a resident of Orangi Town. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has claimed that he is the brother of activist Zia Mehmood. His funeral prayers were offered near his house and he was buried at Jannat-ul-Baqi graveyard, Orangi Town with the MQM leadership present.

MQM also claimed Dawar Hussain was a supporter from Shah Faisal Colony’s sector. His funeral prayers were offered at Imam Bargah Rizvia and he was buried at Wadi-e-Hussain

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Lahore High Court Bar Association declared MQM a terrorist organization.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Entire world knows that MQM is a terrorist organization. Ther are Pakistani Jews and running their party on Jewish tactics. Do bllodshed and then start crying for help. What a termite to the country!

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Same MQM propaganda and lies. The six burnt alive were from the Malir Bar building, which got burnt.

Time to bring back Gen.Babar!!

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Facts are contrary to what's reported by daily times. If MQM people were killed as reported the Karachi would've been going up in flames today. BTW, those who torched the bar building where lawyers were burnt alive were mqm people. I will try to post video of it.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

It's pretty funny how ppl here have started defending MQM thugs now.
It's like Taliban accusing the Military to be harsh on them.
I will believe Taliban of course.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

not sure about him denouncing Pakistani passport, but as I understand INDIA doesn't allow to have TWO nationalities at a time, (Indian members, feel free to correct me if I am wrong)

now back to the topic, Qaym Ali Shah, chief minister of sindh, said other day that Police captured 2 or 3 gunmen red handed, and they are identified; he also said Sindh government will reveal details in two or three days, why not wait for the announcement 1st? IMO it's all about showing the muscle, nothing more.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

It seems though the victims belonged to mqm (atleast some of them).

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

Robert,

No they were not. All lawyers burnt alive including two females belonged to opposition parties. Read the statement of qatil of humanity, biggest ever terrorist, bigger than OBL.

**MQM chief announces to step down **KARACHI, Pakistan, April 11 (APP): Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Husain on Friday announced his stepping down as head of the party on failure of its local leadership to control law and order situation in time. In a letter addressed to party leaders and workers from London, he said he was shocked over the loss of lives and property in Karachi. Deputy Convener of MQM coordination committee read out the abdication letter of Altaf Husain during the general party workers meeting held at party head quarter Nine Zero. “I am deeply shocked and arrived at a conclusion that I am unable to lead the party and ask the coordination committee to look after all the affairs of the party and maintain peace in the city at all cost”, Altaf Husain said. He noted that MQM leaders and elected leadership had failed to control violence in the city. Altaf Husain said peaceful protest was the right of every citizen, but resort to violence and loss of lives come under open terrorism. “You know that I am against every kind of violence,” he added. He said the violence claimed more than 12 innocent lives including those of lawyers, journalists who were subjected to brutality at the hands of unidentified persons and property was set ablaze. Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

No that happened behind the City Court in Tahir Plaza not in Malir Bar. Malir Bar's fire was a smaller one and extinguished quickly.

Re: Seven killed in Karachi clashes

People who have been killed were innocent citizens who have gone their for some work and MQM trying to take them as their "hamdard" or workers.
