I know this has been said before but I think that maybe there are other ways to protect GS members from flooders instead of merely restricting posts to 50 before having the priviledge to pm. I read one response saying just go to “jokes” and laugh at every post there (I was so tempted! lol). I’m sure GS has lots of brilliant software programmers and even engineers who can develop other means to do this. How about limiting the amount of people you can “cc” when you send pm’s? Or a delay/wait before sending one pm after another? I guess these are very minor things and that the admin can concoct better ways so how about we try something else?

60 secs is the time limit before u can send pm again
5 members is the max.
I think thats gr8 - and does not need to be altered.
The 15/50 post rule is the only resonable choice against spammers.

I didn't know that. It just goes to show I don't pm a lot of people. Anyway, I was just thinking that there must be other ways that's all. I'm not a techie so maybe those who are can do something else. Laughing at every posts in "Jokes" looks even more tempting now. lol

go to cafe and reply to a few posts as well. you should be able to reach 50 pretty quickly.

the 50limit for PMs was created for one concern.. regular passing by visitors, would see someone's (girl's) picture, fill registeration and start harrasing..
ALSO .. people would be registering ONLY to start advertising secretly..
remember there are ways around to EVERY restriction, we just like to make it a bit annoying/difficult/time-taking for them..
