Psyah
Sure thing. I'll even give whover wants a written record right here. But make sure you drink in moderation, tip well and make sure they don't put any wine in your drink.
What do you mean by "your people have had their chance?'
Messing with scriptures eh? So we should just let you decide when to take things literally and when not to? Why is that? Such blind trust is what has led to jihad meaning terrorism and suicde bombing today.
Wth do you feel qualified over everyone else in the muslim world to decide when a hadith should be taken literally and when not? Everyone else is a fool, is that it?

In that case this very moment is crystalised for time to come. Let's see how you will get out of this one!
Looks like tirmizi was out there to make Islam the most harsh religion on the face of earth, whatever is not made a punishable crime or haram or gunah per se in Quran have been made punishable crime , haram and gunah in tirmizi with the help of ahadees. Remember only Allah has the authority to declare anything which is haram that too in Quran , no where else anything can be declared haram. That said, I am not condoning making , selling or serving alcoholic beverages . But Hadood of Allah should be kept to the point and limits mentioned in Quran. Quran has not categorically declared Alcohol haram. Quran has not categorically declared paying of interest haram. Yes alcohol has been declared a very bad thing but not haram, also receiving interest has been declared haram but paying of interest is not. But you will find ahadees in tirmizi which have gone beyond the hadood of Allah , those ahadees are doing what Allah has categorically forbidden , that is going beyond or crossing the hodood of Allah.
Peace bro Mirch
Yes the Qur'an has categorically declared alcohol to be avoided. The actual words are 'la allakum tufliHoon' meaning 'Avoid them to be successful'. The avoid word in this sentence is in the imperative sense. However, your point stands which allows the Hanafi madhab to allow alcohol on medical grounds. Generally the meaning is taken of the alcohol in the drink sense and the hadith clarifies what is in the Qur'an it does not go beyond it as you have specified as the instruction to 'avoid' is actually a lot harsher than it appears in English.
Good one Tariq.......but I don't think Psyah can be educated as he has already crossed the point of no return. When ppl start classifying ppl as your ppl and my ppl they have already lost it.
Peace Rocking vibes
It took me some time and patience with a few people on this forum to determine which position they stand. There is no purpose for Tariq other than to cause mischief, and his latest post determines that. All you have done is commended him in that mischief. When people are themselves not ready to included then it becomes a necessary thing to say ... la kum dena kum wali ya deen.
