I was talking to Azkar and I think this is what he told me that i will try to rephrase in layman's word (that I am)

Our server was getting the hit, double or triple the time its capacity. That was crashing the server. To prevent that from happening, Azkar had to put a hard limit on the number of people that can signup at a given time. I dont know what that number is but if you try to sign in at the time when the limit is hit, this is the message you are going to get (the title of the post(

this is done to avoid the denial of service attacks happening lately. i guess we stepped on some tails here and the tails are mad and flapping in mud and to avoid that mud reaching you or our servers we had to put in this temp measure until we can afford a firewall with content inspection capabilities or a router capable of distinguishing between malicious and genuine traffic. short of making much of the content hidden behind signed users' access only this is the best we can for now. we are however actively engaged with the ISP to find a better solution.

All I can say as a well wisher of this site. When someone tires to register and he/she will get this message they will move on to something else.
Then if old members will see this happening quite frequently , they will move on to something else. The attention span of net surfers is pretty short.
Also you have to come up with a better revenue model other than google ads or google syndication. Kids now a days know how to install adblockers. When my computer is on I do not want bikini clad women popping up on my screen. Not that I do not like it, but I do not want anybody else to know that I like it. :D
There are many many Pakistani marketers online now, who would love to target GS members with sponsored ads.
