Serums

Honestly speaking, I have never used a serum before. However, I’ve been hearing and seeing a lot about them lately and after watching the following video, I am quite convinced to incoporate it in my routine. The problem? There are so very many products out there, it’s mindboggling.
So please help me, and others for that matter, to choose one by answering the following queries. Of course, please feel free to give any other input you may have. Thanks

How important a serum is in a skincare regime? Which one do you use? What ingredients should we look for while buying one?

Re: Serums

Serums are very import, you have 3 layers of the skin which are epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. Cream 'sit' on the epidermis layer whereas serums reach the dermis. It's better to invest in a serum.

I switch between a Dior brand and Ole Henriksen, for oily skin.

Re: Serums

But serums are best absorbed in skin by using galvanic /ionic machines etc

Re: Serums

WhenI read thie title I thought you meant hair serum and I was going to reply with my suggestions...LOL

Re: Serums

I feel Michelle Phan goes a little bit overboard in how much stuff she applies to her face... what happened to the good old "cleanse, tone and moisturize" formula? And while I get you shouldn't let wrinkles appear before you take care of them, I wonder if it's a good idea to use this much anti-aging stuff when you're still so young...
