this is nice, everyone does keep an eye out for what is happening around the world and news media's own bigotyry is kept in check, hopefully filtered as news hours and bulletins are read in between the lines and watched with a truth demanding expectation.

comparing news papers does indeed make one feel, what was the lead and what became its spinning off-lead.
be it propaganda or a twist that is delibrate or ignorant.

speacial insert publications/classfied within a good newspaper for finding work, real estate and business outlook are good. its politics and international affairs or local news where people as citizens have to be careful.

unfortunately, certain newspapers are meant to be for only certain folks - to scare them, and the sad thing is they do buy into that scare.

only if, literate people discerned and read the news paper with full open eyes and minds and picked out suspicious and fabricated news to protect themselves and others from paranoia of political or social uncertainty in the US, and fellow non Muslims were able to view the good side of actual majority of Muslims as well who are peaceful and hardworking, things would be different.

thanks for contributing your thoughts on the thread thus far, share if you like, if a fellow non Muslim reads some thrilling negative caption or article on or about Muslims, how do you dispel their misconceptions? do you do that or not?

i havent really come across any of my freinds saying somthing bad about my faith after they;'ve read somthing in the paper. to be honest i wouldnt know what to say to that person. Maybe it would depend on the situation and conversation:@:

but sometimes miraculously i do get to read, but then i only read filmy safa :blush: (entertainment section)

ps. hard copy :dhimpak: (on my bed, besides my books, you also gonna see tonz of newspaper :smack:)
