So I decided that it is high time I moved this baby pudge around and I started with the apple cider vinegar totka, and cut out all soda ( haven’t had one for more than a month now ) rice consumption is once or twice a week. Minimal junk ( most of it is Turkish food. No burgers).
My point of confusion is that after doing all this my weight still hasn’t budged, I weigh myself and it is really disappointing to see the scale at the same damn place. It makes me depressed and stuff myself with all the bad foods. I thought that initially the scale moves a lot. Pls help me, I am somewhat active ( housework and a toddler) and I try to do walking and some other exercises when time permits.
What happens sometimes is we might cut down on certain foods but still eat a lot of other foods. Take a good look at what you are eating, how much and your portion sizes.
make a food journal to see exactly what you're eating, maybe post it on here so you make sure you do it and get some advice.
its a simple formula: energy out has to be greater than energy in to lose weight. You say you are active so it could possibily be to do with what youre eating exactly.
Make sure you're exercising, also there's been times with me when even if I'm dieting and exercising the weight just won't budge but after a month or two all of it drops at once, it's really weird, like one day I'll weigh myself and it won't have changed and in a weeks time I'll have dropped 2 months worth of weight off. So keep at it :))
Also detox before dieting, it shifts all that 'water-weight' :)
Exercise......have a healthy diet and make it ur lifestyle...lots of salads....less oily stuff and sweets....and forget abt weighing urself for another 6 months :D
honestly.. i wish i had uploaded pics of my pre shred belly and post one to make you a believer in the JM SHRED..
i had split muscles from the pregnancy which meant an even more protruding belly.. my muscles had pulled aside rather than grow with my stomach during pregnancy and that led to my insides pushing outwards ... i honestly looked 5 months pregnant even a yr after delivery!
i didnt make any major changes to my diet other than cut out junk food.. i couldnt diet cuz midget is hyperactive and dieting just made me cranky.. all i did was teh shred.. as boring as it was... but what it did for my stomach was uncanny... i didnt think my stomach could be healed... but the shred did wonders. .if its just the pouch.. u can always do her ab dvd...
I know u didnt ask but only excericse will help u tone ... dieting wont. nor is it lo9ng lasting.. the min u fall off the wagon... it all just piles on.
Are you breastfeeding? i found it harder to lose weight when breastfeeding. It came off for sure but very slowly in about 12 months or so. By 18 months while i was still breastfeeding, i was under my pregnancy start weight. This was without making any effort whatsoever.
If you are not breastfeeding, than maybe you need less calories and/or more calorie burn. Watch out for oily foods, use less oil in cooking, use skim milk and yogurt etc.
Automne 77: i had trouble loosing weight all the time. and recently i lost 2 kg without anything. well i kind of changed my diet. and my SIL lost 10 kg without any exercise.
