In the news they just said Rita’s now up to Category 5…165mph/wind…same as Katrina..

They just showed a live scene from 45(highway leading out of Galveston) and it’s totally backed up…mandatory evacuations already started.

Went to Wal-mart and HEB this morning, mainly to look for water, and both were completely out.

first of all KATRINA was level 4 hurican
second by now the speed is abt 155+ mph

i know .. i cudnt find water at 6 am in neighbour hood walmart store .. then my dad went ahead talked to the bank manager and manager seemed to be very doubted abt the building safety

no idea where we heading upto so far but for sure leaving houston.

^ Katrina was Cat 5 when it was in the Gulf Coast. Rita is Cat 5 right now. Usually when the hurricane approaches land, the water becomes colder and the intensity goes down. Same happened with Katrina and it was a Cat 4 by the time it hit NO. So by the time Hurricane Rita makes landfall, hopefully it will be Cat 4 or less. I don't think a Cat 5 has made landfall in the Gulf Coast in living history.

ok guys, here is update news. me is in austin after driving 3 days just had only 5 hours sleep in 72 hours, very tierd can't drive any more cna't find the hotel either . i am serious i just i am tired of freking crap i seriously want to go back home won't care if i die from rita.

SHikra bahi is in SAN. , he is safe ALLHAMDOLIAH.

mr.bosmatic, i don't have his cell so i have no idea where is he.

just pray for every one. my eyes getti8ng close coz of sleep so AH & TC guys and tahnks a lot guys for prayer and pls do keep praying.
