This is not a dare or anything. Im just wondering if any of you would let their 13 yr old daughter wear a thong? For whatever reason they wanted to..would you care? I mean if you know they’re not doing anything bad, they go to school, come home, and thats its. But still its a big deal right, to let a girl so young be wearing a thong? I mean she dont got no pant lines to worry about.
Re: Serious Question..for women
nope. to many wedgies to think about.
basically, i would scare the heck out of her about wedgies, so she never dares go near them.
Re: Serious Question..for women
actually, they're pretty comfortable. And you think you scaring her is gonna stop her? Shes gonna wanna do what her friends are doing
Re: Serious Question..for women
While I'm not against the idea of thongs, I don't find them immoral or wrong in any way, somehow age 13 seems way too young. You don't have to be showing it offf to others, to wear nice lingerie, but again it's the age factor. At that age i'd say they had the right to decide wat kinda underwear they wanted to wear lolz, so I don't think i'd have a problem wiht it, as long as the clothes she wore were appropriate
Re: Serious Question..for women
What next?
Would you let your 13 year old breathe??
Re: Serious Question..for women
excuse me? what the hell is that supposed to mean?
Re: Serious Question..for women
In simple word, GStrings are a form of undergarment, worn for specific reasons and under certain clothing to not have your pantyline be obvious or visible for men to oogle and women to barf...
So lets just treat is an undergarment and not make it a big hooo haaaa
And move on to would you let your 13 year old sit on the net all day and chat or something more meaningful
Re: Serious Question..for women
Go away. Okay anyone else :) ?
Re: Serious Question..for women
ehen, i’m not saying that thongs are nasty. i’m just saying the idea of it is kinda uncomfortable ![]()
Re: Serious Question..for women

we can go to vs and pick them out together : )
Re: Serious Question..for women
You’d like that now wouldnt you ![]()

Well said.
Please don't forward your backward thinking, really weird mentally challenging opinions onto the next generation. Please, just don't.

wats the point ![]()
Re: Serious Question..for women
I am not obv. a dad - but I would not be comfortable with the idea. Its not the undergarment itself. Just wat it represents. right now, its under the clothing - later it may become slightly more obvious?
Every situation / relationship is different so no definitive yes/no here
its hard to communicate with teenagers - so I will let it be (on a restricted basis if possible somehow). You only have soo many "NO" cards as a parent. gotta play them right :LB:

If you put it that way, theres alot of things such as 'watching TV' or 'music' that can be believed and led on too many many wrong doings.
Re: Serious Question..for women
PrinceMS, just a quick question.
You think if we'd not make it an issue it'd just remain and undergarment?
I mean noOne goes, i wouldnt let my 13 year old wear a bra because its considered to be representing a certain image.
I'd rather prefer my kids to wear the right clothing then come under scrutiny and be a laughing stock at school because of backward desi mentality and unability to comprehend the needs and wants of a teenager.
We all seem to forget how hard it was to fit in as teenagers and what peer pressure we all had to go to.
Say for once if with the right upbrining if we'd let our kids breathe a bit they wouldnt go behind our backs hiding stuff from us.
Why do most desi parents forget that
Re: Serious Question..for women
u sure abt that ![]()

Yup
Kids are naive and often love to explore in the unknown. Curiosity gets the best of us all. We've been there and done that. Now why jeaopardise such a potential relationship with our own children. Nuh uh, I iz not going through it again one more time
Re: Serious Question..for women
C i don’t see why “thongs” are so taboo and parents should have a problem with it. It’s just underwear, just like boy-shorts, briefs, etc.
There’s no point in being such a hard-ass that you dictate what type of underwear they wear, like LB said you have ot give them room to breathe, and suspect them of doing wrong things coz htey’re wearing em.
My mom was pretty [actually VERY] strict in HS but it’s not like she ever suspected me of doing wrong things, or said I was immoral for wearing them, just that I was foolishly wasting my $$ (then again she says that about everything lol).
Now I would be kinda scared if my son started wearing them ![]()
Re: Serious Question..for women
Most men prefer to sleep naked. Hmmmm does this raise anyones eyebrow? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
