Artest showed up on the tonight show but instead of discussing the incident in auburn hills the other night, he started promoting his RnB cd. This guy cracks me up every time. First he gets hit with a cup filled with beer while laying down on the announcements table in the midst of the on going brawl between his teammates and detroit then he does this. If there is one person in the nba who deserves a visit from a shrink, it has to be ron artest.
And while we’re on the subject, what about vince carter? When asked by a tv sports reporter about his game and how he doesnt dunk any more, he replied by saying that he doesn’t feel like doing them and lay ups can do the job of getting him to the free throw line. When the reporter proved otherwise, he says im sorry, im still working on it, what do you want me to do. Then he goes on to say that dunks are overrated (see the irony of that statement?). If you managed to see that clip, you’ll see how stuborn and immature he looked at that time. Then tonight before the game against wizards he says that he was just kidding and goes on to score season high 25 points and season high 9 rebounds.
What goes through vince’s mind? Is he going through some kind of mid life crisis or something? Is his newly married life having an impact on his mental health?
