These anti-Pakistan forces are Pakistani themselves.
yes, there are Mir Jaffars/Sadiq in Pakistan too.
Any information on locations the bombs were blasted? Times?
Re: Series of blasts in Karachi
Could this be revenge by Indians? NYT online said that the suicide attack on Indian embassy in Kabul earlier was seen as a power play by Pakistan using taleban militant connections.
If that is the case I am surprised Indians have this much capabillity inside Pakistan and in such rapidity.
Or this could be just internal jihad. Who knows. I've lost track.
Hell with it all. I've had enough
Re: Series of blasts in Karachi
the simplest solution is the most likely one. these are the same people who did the lal masjid bombings. i dont see what incentive india has to bomb random places in karachi, its not as if there isnt enough chaos as it is.
yes, there are Mir Jaffars/Sadiq in Pakistan too.

Re: Series of blasts in Karachi
May the deceased rest in peace. This is very unfortunate, and at the least heinous. :(
Just a question - where abouts did the bombs in karachi explode? Can anyone please post the details.
Re: Series of blasts in Karachi
The blasts occured in the western parts of the city - mainly pakhtoon areas.
I think these blasts were more directed towards spreading ethnic hatered in Karachi… MQM, who is in govt. with PPP in Sindh and Karachi would never like to destroy this relationship by constructing bomb blasts.

MQM accused of bias against Pukhtuns
Thursday, July 10, 2008
Bureau report
PESHAWAR: Nationalist lawyer Barrister Baachaa has linked Monday’s bomb blasts in Pashtun-inhabited areas in Karachi to the recent statements of Karachi Mayor Mustafa Kamal, Sindh Governor Ishratul Ibad and MQM head Altaf Hussain.
In a statement, he accused them of running a campaign against Pashtuns in Karachi. “The bomb blasts that resulted in the death and maiming of Pashtun children was yet another ‘gift’ to General Musharraf on his visit to Karachi like the one, MQM presented to him on May 12 last year,” he alleged.
He said be it the Pashtuns’ massacre in Afghanistan, Swat, Waziristan, Bajaur, Mohmand Agency, Bara or Karachi, General Musharraf and MQM were working on the US agenda of Pashtuns’ genocide because US believed the Pashtun nation was to be the last citadel, the bastion of Islam and Pakistan and that this nation was ready and willing to defeat the nefarious designs of US and the enemies of Pakistan.
He termed as evil the impression being created by the MQM leadership and the Karachi police that the recent tragic incidents in Karachi were result of ANP government’s support for the army action in the Khyber Agency. On the contrary, he emphasized, the ANP government had from the very beginning supported the process of dialogue with the groups in the tribal area and had tried to resolve the complicated issues through Pashtun jirga.
Well this is what the rumour goes. Why would the bombs be planted in areas with Pakhtun majorities? Waht could that achieve? The spread of ethnic hatred - and who owuld want to achieve this? Al qaeda? India? USA? Pakhtun nationalists? MQM? ISI?
Its interesting to see how this Natinalist lawter is using the “islam” card especially since the ANP is supposed to be so “secular”
Re: Series of blasts in Karachi
Bless Barrister Baacha, always fond of reading his articles, which started off from the news post/letters to the editor...
