Has anyone ever hired these hotels for thier wedding or been to a wedding held here? If so, what were your experiences and which venue would you recommend?
I am thinking of hiring out either the Serena Islamabad or Marriott Islamabad for my baraat day. I’ve been to both hotels and stayed in the guest rooms before, but I have never seen the banquet halls or been to a wedding held at any of these venues.
So I would like to know, would anyone recommend these venues for their wedding? I am leaning more towards the Serena at the moment, but can anyone tell me **How much does/did it cost to hire this hotel for a day? **Also, **what was included in the price e.g. decorations and food, and how many guests can the Serena hold?

Even if nobody has held thier wedding at one of these hotels, could anyone share thier experiences of this venue as a wedding guest, did you enjoy it, was the food nice, did they have provide nice decorations etc?

Hi there, i have attended several weddings in both marriot and serena...and i would go for serena with my eyes closed...their hall, the decor, the food, the service...each time was perfect!!!! Loved it! Serena is defo. expensive...dunno how much for weddings, but went to there to have dinner/high tea a few times and it was quite expensive compared to other places. Oh - there is one downside to Serena the security is a pain...and its a long walk from the parking to the main area :S

Thanks for your comments :) I feel the same as you about how Serena seems better but I have heard a lot of how the Marriott has a nicer interior and atmosphere, but I really like both. I don't know which to choose!
