So it seems Canadian customers get wayy overcharged for some of the Sephora products. I wanted to buy something which costs like $50 US, however when I try to do Canadian checkout online, it gets converted to $79 
. It actually should be $58 CAD with current rate.
I also checked out same product at Sephora store here and it costs 79 bucks. Called them up and asked why such a big difference, I was told apparently they have to keep the pricing consistent online and in the Canadian stores. They are selling for 79 in Canada so it will be same online as well.
I just find it soo stupid…I would still get the product becuz I really need it, but it just makes me mad looking at the price difference.

its the difference in our currency, and its true for most US-based retailers not just sephora.
if you buy in US and ship to canada, then you have to pay for shipping and possibly duties at the border too. it'll probably work out to be the same.

probably not....it only gives option of checkout Canada if shipping is to Canada.

apparently shipping is free for anything purchased above $50 for US orders and $120 canadian orders.....so ya i guess customs is killing them :( I would have liked to have a choice to pay $50 US and then shipping charges....but they are being so sneaky :D

Sephora is more expensive in Canada even after the conversion coz of our good ol' GST and PST.

Sephora in the states is soooo much cheaper! I got all excited looking at the US prices, thinking they would be the same in Canada and was totally bummed to find out they're spiked w.o the addition of p/gst!

^ exactly thats what I am talking about....even after including gst/pst and converting the currency they are wayyy too high in canada!!
how fair is that to have a fee shipping at $50 US and $120CAD.....canada is not in africa@!!!
