Yeah pretty normal. My cousin lives in Australia and goes to Pakistan every year (sometimes twice a year) and spends 2 months along with her kids with her family (mom and sis) away from her husband.

Yeah exactly. I don’t think many people would mind their spouse going to Pakistan alone. They know they’ll be living with family and getting up to the usual stuff.

Sending wife and children back home to Pakistan to spend time with families is not equivalent to having separate vacations since the husbands usually don’t get such a long vacation and usually join their wives and children for few weeks back home.

I think it would be odd if the husband and wife would go on vacation seperately every time, e.g. going on a cruise with friends. Going on a vacation separately once in a while is ok but there would be something seriously wrong if they go on vacations separately every time.
