Ok guys i am little bewildered as my fiance wants a sep wedding , as he has to come to uk for 3 months and tats the only month we can arrange our rukhsati as we wod be getting our nikah in aug
so i am little concerned about wat to wear on my nikah as it wod be aug , hot and sweaty.. plz help me little and wat color shd i go for???

dont worry first of all, off-season weddings can be a blessing in disguise. InshaAllah you'll appreciate it when you see how December and January brides rush to get appointments for designers, MUAs and hotels because they run out sometimes a year in advance!
I think it depends on the venue, you dont need a light outfit just because of the weather. If youre having it in a hotel, it should have air conditioning and generators, am i correct? If not, maybe you could at least go with a lighter color since it will attract less heat and dont have too many stage lights cause those will make you hot as well.

Wow thanks for ur long detailed reply , nikah is gonna be a small family function , his mom , brothers wil be der , as he has no sisters , and my parents.and uncle n aunts , hardly 30 to 35 ppl , I am plannin to keep it simple wit emerald n orange or red combi 
shalwar kameez wit emerald pendant or shd I go wit turquoise as it suits me a lot … Argh am so excited

Sarah, nowdays u get fully air conditioned halls and with 30-35 ppl shouldn't be a prb really... Don't worry abt the weather.
I'd say keep red/maroon type colours for the wedding day and have some other colour for ur Nikkah....

i think that for the nikah you should keep it quite simple and elegant not something over the top because then for your barat day u can look like a even more beautiful bride!

, cause i have this marvelous feroza set , wic will look outstanding and i am goin for straight pants and long shirt , cause am tall 5"7 and bulky , but i look slimming in pants..

sarah if u want to wear ur feroza set why not make a beige self print jamavar with shades of ferozi and blue work all over the neck and daman. ull have color and it will look good.
if u also wear a long kameez 4 inches below the knees and pants u will certianly look thin. just remember kay kameez daman should also be slightly flaired
