I did not find the salons dirty when I was there. In Islamabad I got my waxing done once from a small salon near my khala’s place and the girls were super nice there. In Karachi I got my waxing done twice from Shagufta something’s salon since it was 2 blocks away from my in laws house. They had a separate room with a curtain in the middle but the curtain was more like a thin wall so I did not feel uncomfortable. I can’t remember exactly how much they charged (maybe 3000?) but they did a nice job. If you are uncomfortable just tell them and I am sure they will not let another person in while you are getting your waxing done. One thing to watch out for is them using the same strip over and over again. Ask them to change the strips as often as possible. I’ve noticed that if you don’t say anything they will use the same strip to wax your entire body if they could. That is something I find gross so when I got mine done I always told the lady to change the strip after every 2-3 uses max. They all speak English and are all super nice and an extra 100 rupees can make them do quite a bit to accommodate you (especially in the smaller salons).
I am not sure about the high end salons but I doubt they would be that accommodating.
