Eyeliner on your waterline or on the lid of your eye?

On the lid of my eye. I wear kajal on the waterline for now.

I notice my eyes get like this when I wear liquid liner, esp. if it gets in the inner-corners towards the tear duct. That’s why I prefer gel. If I am using liquid, I keep it for the outer 2/3rd of my eye.

Also, I notice my eyes get more irritated when I use a felt-tip and not at all when I use a brush. Did you try testing w/ a fine liner brush? It doesn’t have to be expensive, it can even be a $2-$3 art brush.

I wore liquid liner with a felt tip yesterday…got a little red but didn’t really give it much thought. Today…my eyes went haywire on me…ruined my makeup with all the water running and OMG my eyes were burninggggggggggggggg.

I like liquid because of the very neat and precise line it gives and the felt tip is a great guide. I have MAC’s gel liner…I think I’ll try applying that with an artist brush tomorrow and see how that turns out. I just really like the precision the pen gives.

What if I used the pen with the gel? Or is that just asking for trouble?

Liquid eyeliner is horrid. I would rather suffer with the 20 minutes it takes to apply gel eyeliner than use liquid eyeliner.

Awww…I love the look of liquid! It is soooo precise!
