I don’t remember where I saw that documentary, but it was about how our brain functions. Doctors had the skull of a conscious patient cut open. Doctors would touch different parts of the brain with probes without the knowledge of the patient, and the patient would raise his arm, or flick his leg. Amazing thing is that the action of the patient was not out of any reaction. According to him, he made a decision to raise his arm by thinking about it.

Narrator went on saying that could it be that everything we do is preplanned, but it happens in such a way that we think that we made the decision ourselves at that moment.
