They are the same. They both are equal to the speed of light.
Speed of your brain signals have nothing to do with how deep you think, or how layered your level of perception is, or how well you can sense things around you
speed of brain is much slower than speed of light/electrons. its the speed at which neurotransmitters like dopamine can diffuse across snyapses connecting neurons.
It's up to you i guess. I like to believe that God does not make junk. Yes our intelligence is by our exposure to our surrounding, our mentorship and upbringing, but a huge amount is based on we are using our brain for.
You can use the same computer to visit stupid websites, our you can use it to solve complex equations or design software. Our brain is just like that.
so what is it that generates new ideas, thoughts in a mind?
rainydays thanks you can smoke, i don't like sharing cigarettes :D
Good question. Never really thought about it. I don't believe for a second that we are all equally intelligent. If ever watched a bunch of kids, you would notice some are highly annoying because their curiosity will make them search every nook and cranny and they ask a million questions.
However, I do believe brains can be trained to think creatively even if it doesn't come naturally. I also think it has a lot to do with our mood and our surroundings.
my guess is, when you want to move your arm, a part of the brain initiates the plan, and certain neural pathways get activated that do the rest of the action. when we want to think of a certain something, similarly some neurons are activated by the initiating sections, and they take it from there and develop the thought into more complex details based on their "capability". the brain isn't one uniform lump. it has its voluntary, involuntary, and in between sections.
I don’t remember where I saw that documentary, but it was about how our brain functions. Doctors had the skull of a conscious patient cut open. Doctors would touch different parts of the brain with probes without the knowledge of the patient, and the patient would raise his arm, or flick his leg. Amazing thing is that the action of the patient was not out of any reaction. According to him, he made a decision to raise his arm by thinking about it.
Narrator went on saying that could it be that everything we do is preplanned, but it happens in such a way that we think that we made the decision ourselves at that moment.
